All Israeli settlements in the West Bank are illegal under international law but there is nevertheless hundreds of new construction sites which the Israeli government authorizes and โ€œlegalizesโ€ after completion. It strikes me as ridiculous that Israel even uses words like โ€œlegalโ€ or โ€œillegalโ€ anymore since Israelis seemingly can do whatever they want without repercussion.

Pictured is a bus on the hill near where I shepherded today. It functions as a settler outpost which is illegal under Israeli law as well as international law. However, the Zionist police force does not intervene when one is established. Of course. New settlements are then able to form around these outposts.

The host family I stayed with last night lives just across from this bus outpost. In an attempt to seize more land, settlers have destroyed their home five times and burned their truck. The other day one of the men had his boots stolen because he left them outside.

Israeli Zionists keep circling the house, keeping everyone on edge. Most of them are young. Apparently the settlers bring in boys from more populated areas who are struggling with poverty to act as a kind of gang on their behalf.
