Last night I stayed the cozy cave home of a mother and her two daughters. She had two sons but one of them was murdered by the IOF and the other is in jail for the crime of being Palestinian.

On the wall of the cave there was a picture of the martyred son. He was shot in the lungs outside his home and the bullet hit his spine, causing him to become quadriplegic. The settlers and soldiers still come to the house to harass the mother and daughters and accuse them of being “Hamas” even though they rarely are able to leave the property. When they deny any association they are called Arab liars. They live in constant fear.
The (invasive) pine-covered illegal settlement on the hilltop next to a Palestinian village. The settlement has taken over the entire hill even though many of the houses are empty. Zionists are constantly building with the idea that more Jews from around the world will eventually come to colonize.
The occupiers often call their settlements the same name as the village they are adjacent to so that when the last indigenous Palestinians are forcibly removed, maps will not reflect any change.
