I spent most of the afternoon playing with their three young boys. We shared a lot of laughs while the settler jeeps zoomed by on the dirt road behind us.
I’m trying to savor every moment of joy and calm. The women are preparing the Iftar meal in the kitchen while the boys are now huddled together on the couch watching a movie on their iPhone. A large flock of birds just flew by. The wind is picking up as evening approaches.
